BREAKING NEWS: Another Explosion On Gulf Rig Northern Michigan's News Leader is following breaking news out of the Gulf of Mexico. Early reports confirm there was an explosion on a rig near Vermilion Bay on the West side of the BP Rig. The Coast Guard says 13 people were onboard, and all are accounted for.
